Until October of 2010, Jake Sherman was making his way as a jazz organist. While taking a walk one day, the perfect hook for a pop song formed in his mind. Jake then spent months in his room learning the art of production, and emerged from his jazz chrysalis. Using a combination of pop sensibilities, intricate harmony, and direct but poignant lyrics, Jake’s sound continues to grow into a world that is purely his own.
